James Colborn’s Bio

James Colborn is a partner at the law firm of Neal Colborn PLLC. His real estate law practice includes facilitating real estate purchases, working with investment property owners and property managers on landlord, tenant and Fair Housing issues, advising and representing homeowners’ associations, and working with clients on asset protection including estate planning and probate, organizing the formation of various business entities and collections. James received his bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies from Washington State University and earned his Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law. After law school, James served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Stephen W. Drescher in the 3rd District Court of Idaho and practiced law in the Seattle area for five years. He remains an active member of the Washington State Bar Association. James has practiced in Boise since 2002, both with Neal Colborn PLLC and its predecessor firm, Neal & Uhl, PLLC.
