Board Spotlight: Chapter Treasurer Chair – Lydia Mathie, Operations at Aloha Property Management

Speaker: Eric Wetherington

Topic: 7 successful tip to successful leadership

Bio: Charleston, SC – Eric D. Wetherington was elected to the board of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM®)at the Association’s National Convention two weeks ago in Atlanta, GA. Wetherington will serve a two year term as the Southeast Regional Vice-President beginning in January 2016. Founded in 1987, the Chesapeake, VA based NARPM® is the professional, educational and ethical leader for the residential property management industry. Wetherington is currently the managing broker of New Heights Property Management, a division of Carolina One Real Estate Services. He has been a Realtor® since 2005 and has earned the Master Property Manager (MPM) and Residential Management Professional (RMP) industry designations. The Carolina One Property Management division was launched by Wetherington in 2009 and currently represents more than 1000 tri-county residential properties. Additionally, Wetherington manages South Carolina Property Services, the full-service residential maintenance company that services New Heights Property Management. A native of Clearwater, FL, Wetherington has lived in Charleston for the past 8 years. He is a graduate of Grand Rapids Baptist College in Grand Rapids, MI and holds a degree in Music. A resident of Moncks Corner, Wetherington is married to wife Leigh and has two children, Rachel and Joshua. In his spare time Wetherington enjoys public speaking, hunting and is the Choir Director at Ferndale Baptist Church.
